How many scented tampons would cause a yeast infection?

I unknowingly bought scented tampons. This is my first encounter with scented tampons. I heard these can cause infections, making them seem unsafe, but if they weren’t safe, stores would not sell them. How many scented tampons would a woman need to use to get a yeast infection?

If you are sensetive down there you will prolly get an infection. If not you will prolly be ok. I accidently bought a pad that was scented and im very sensitve down there i broke out in a rash and got a yeast infection so it really just depends on your body.

Well the tampon itself cannot CAUSE a yeast infection, but if you are sensitive/allergic to them, they could cause some irritation/inflamation which could make you more likely to get a yeast infection. So if you have that kind of sensitivity, using them once could be enough to give you trouble. But if you’re not sensitive to them, use them all you like. I would just say if you have a history of being sensitive to chemicals, soaps, scents, etc, stay away from them. But if not, give them a try, that’s all you can do.
